Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Invoice Maker at invoice.bnj.app, operated by Hugo Software ("we", "us"). By using the service you accept them.
1. What the service is
Invoice Maker is a document tool. It produces invoice, proforma invoice, quote and receipt documents as PDF files, generated inside your own web browser.
2. What the service is not
Invoice Maker is not an electronic invoicing service and does not issue government-registered electronic invoices. In particular it does not issue e-Fatura or e-Arşiv invoices in Türkiye, which can only be issued through the Revenue Administration (GİB) system or an authorised integrator, and it does not satisfy equivalent mandates in other countries. It is not accounting, tax or legal advice, and it does not file anything with any authority on your behalf.
You are responsible for deciding whether a PDF invoice is sufficient for your situation, for the correctness of the tax rates, numbers, dates and details you enter, and for complying with the invoicing, tax and record-keeping rules that apply to you.
3. Your content
The content of your invoices stays on your device. We do not receive it, store it, back it up or restore it. Keep your own copies of anything you need; clearing your browser's site data deletes the archive and saved clients permanently.
4. Free use and Pro
The free version has no invoice limit and no line limit. Documents produced with it carry a faint watermark and a "Made with invoice.bnj.app" line.
Pro is a subscription that removes those marks and adds your logo and accent colour, the client and invoice archive, automatic number series and the additional layouts. Prices are shown in the app before purchase (weekly, monthly and yearly plans, with a 24-hour free trial). Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
5. Licence codes
There are no accounts. Pro is unlocked by a licence code in the form BNJ-XXXXXXXX. Treat it as a key: anyone who has it can use the subscription. You may use it on your own devices. Keep a copy — a lost code with no matching Stripe customer cannot always be recovered.
6. Payment, renewal and cancellation
Payments are processed by Stripe. You may cancel at any time through the customer portal linked in the app; cancellation stops the next renewal and access continues until the end of the paid period. Statutory rights of withdrawal, where they apply to you, are unaffected. If you cancel during the free trial, you are not charged.
7. Refunds
If Pro does not work as described, write to us and we will look at it and refund where that is fair. We do not refund a paid period simply because it went unused.
8. Acceptable use
Do not use the service to produce documents that are fraudulent, that impersonate another business, or that are otherwise unlawful. Do not attempt to break, overload or circumvent the licence check.
9. Availability
The service is provided "as is", without warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue Pro entirely, we will stop charging for it.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost revenue, unpaid or disputed invoices, tax penalties, or loss of data stored in your browser.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the date at the top changes when we do. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by Turkish law, and the courts of Istanbul have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection rules in your country of residence give you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
